Hello! My name is Andrew Listvinsky (he/him) and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing mental health counseling/psychotherapy in San Diego county. I also see clients virtually throughout California. 

I work primarily with adults and I specialize in helping people navigate trauma, grief, substance use, and dissociative conditions (DID/OSDD). My training and experience has given me the opportunity to provide therapy to caregivers, Veterans, active duty, and the unhoused. I believe in a flexible style of therapy, so I tend to provide a mix of skills and suggestions as well as space and support for my clients to grow and find their own strength. 

What brings me the most joy as a therapist is seeing people acknowledge the struggles they've experienced, and then finding that doing so allows them to move forward with even more determination and certainty. Yes, therapy is often about looking at the past and fixing the problems in our lives. Beyond that, therapy is about answering the the question of "what's next?" with increased confidence. 

In my personal life I find joy from spending time with my senior dog Miranda, gaming, and trying new recipes. I try my best to find humor, balance, and connection wherever I can.
